Christmas in September?
You betcha! Get started now. Buy (or make! More about that another day) one gift each pay period. If those with whom you exchange gifts are game, agree to draw names or nix gift gifting altogether. Do something fun together like planning a meal. Spend money on yummy, homemade favorites instead of on gifts.
For children, be careful right now. With all of the lead in the paint on popular toys, you might want to think of alternative ideas.
